JICA Trainee Meeting

On 17 February, a JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) trainees' exchange meeting was held in Matsue City. The aim of this workshop is to provide new business ideas by connecting trainees who do not have the opportunity to visit Japanese SMEs with companies who are considering overseas expansion.
Here, our representative Ishitobi gave an introduction to Kendensha. The countries they come from are ...

  • Nigeria
  • Cameroon
  • Kiribati
  • Bangladesh
  • Ghana
  • Philippines
  • Pakistan
  • Indonesia
  • Syria
  • Dipti
  • Kenya
  • Tanzania
  • Afghanistan

In fact, 13 countries!
There was an interpreter, but the director did his best to speak all in ‘English’! (This greatly surprised Kendensha members) Although it was in Japanese-English pronunciation and accent, we hope that the trainees could feel the enthusiasm of our director, at least.

Thank you very much for inviting us. I think I will be able to show off his slightly improved English at the next opportunity.
